Basketballs were bouncing all over the place. Jokes were being told. Players were laughing. It was friendly banter from a loose Iowa State men’s basketball team before practice started.
Monday was just another day at the Sukup Basketball Complex.
And that’s a good thing. The Cyclones are handling their start to Big 12 play, a 1-2 record and a home loss to Baylor on Saturday, just like they need to.
By not overreacting to it.
“We know in this camp we have a bunch of winners and we are going to be to go out there and prove it,” forward Georges Niang said.
