Rhoads leaves football team
Wyatt Rhoads is no longer a member of the Iowa State football team. ISU spokesman Mike Green confirmed the information on Friday night.
Rhoads now will focus on his track career. Rhoads was a true freshman walk-on at wide receiver this past fall. He didn’t play in a game.
He is the son of former Cyclone football head coach Paul Rhoads, who was let go in November after seven seasons at ISU.
Previously, Jake Rhoads, coach Rhoads’ oldest son who was the team’s long snapper, also left the team.
