ISU inks eight on signing day
The Iowa State soccer team signed eight new players on Wednesday as part of national signing day.
Midfielder Hannah Cade headlines ISU’s 2016 recruiting class. She was named Miss Soccer Minnesota for 2015, the award given to the best soccer player in the state of Minnesota. Cade also was named an NSCAA All-American.
The Cyclones also added four in-state recruits, including midfielder Anna Frerichs and defender Carly Langhurst. Frerichs and Langhurst led Cedar Rapids Kennedy to a state title in 2014.
Marin Daniel, a Dowling Catholic product, signed with the Cyclones as well, and has received numerous all-state awards for her play.
