ISU: McCarney, Tinsley, Taylor headline Hall of Fame class

The eight members of the 2016 Iowa State Athletics Hall of Fame Class were announced on Monday and it is headlined by three of the biggest Cyclones from the 2000s.

Former football coach Dan McCarney, men’s basketball player Jamaal Tinsley and women’s basketball player Megan Taylor will be enshrined during a ceremony on Sept. 23. Each helped lead their respective program to heights rarely seen at ISU before their tenure.

Gymnast Mark Diab, wrestler Arthur Holding, wrestler Reg Wicks, softball Erin Woods and men’s track athlete Raf Wyns are also being inducted.
