After the strongest statistical season in ISU women's golf history in 2014-2015, recently graduated senior Chonlada Chayanun has been recognized on a university-wide level.
On Thursday, Chayanun was named Iowa State Female Athlete of the Year, the first time an ISU women's golfer earned the honor since Beth Bader did so in 1996.
The four-year starter from Nakhon Ratchaslma, Thailand, has the most accomplished resume in program history as she owns the program record for a 73.09 single season stroke average, set this year; career stroke average (74.71); 54-hole score (209) and 18-hole score (65).
