Iowa State Tennis Makes First-Ever NCAA Championships

For the first time in program history, Iowa State Women’s Tennis is headed to the NCAA Championships! In just his third season, head coach Boomer Saia has built the program from one of the losingest programs in the Big 12, to one that has now made the NCAA Championships after being ranked for the last nine weeks of the regular season.

What makes the feat even more incredible is that all but one player, senior Maty Cancini, are all true freshmen.

We’ll be keeping tabs on the team as they prepare to take on NC State in their first ever trip to the NCAAs.
