After a string of key conference wins to put the Cyclones in second place in the conference, Iowa State dropped a crucial home game to TCU by a final score of 92-83.
The first half was a story of poor shooting, as the Cyclones were able to get open looks on most possessions, but shot just 37% from the field and 9% from three.
The second half became a story of poor defense and sloppy play, with nine turnovers. The Cyclone shooters picked up the pace in the second to the tune of a 53% clip, but TCU shot 63% and never let Iowa State within striking distance.
