The Cyclones started the game extremely cold from the field, only scoring eight points in the first 14 minutes of game action. Texas led 24-8 with 6:05 remaining in the first half, but then Iowa State rattled off 21 points to the Longhorns’ 11 to cut the deficit to 35-29 at the half.
