Iowa State Doesn't Lose Bowl Game for Third Year in a Row

One of the most impressive streaks in the modern era of college football has been extended, as the Iowa State Cyclones football program has run their streak of consecutive postseasons without a loss to three seasons. The last time ISU lost a bowl game was way back on December 31, 2012, when the Cyclones fell to Tulsa 31-17 in the Liberty Bowl.

While the anniversary of that date is coming up, Iowa State fans are too busy celebrating their lack of postseason losses to care. Word is that Campustown establishments are being run dry of their alcohol by Cyclone fans who are thrilled to go another year without a heartbreaking defeat following the regular season.
