The refs didn’t help, but they certainly weren’t the reason for the loss. The defense’s inability to get stops was the main reason for loss, but the offense also had several droughts throughout the game. Udoka Azukeuike led the way for the Jayhawks with 19 points, Malik Newman had 17, and Lagerald Vick rounded it out with 16 points. Kansas connected on 9 three pointers out of their 26 attempts.
