Another fast start quickly evaporates as the Cyclones leave Cancun with just one win.
The Idaho Vandals used 17 three pointers to defeat the Iowa State women 97-65 on Saturday. Cyclone junior Seanna Johnson had a career high 28 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Iowa State. The 2-3 Cyclones now have a losing record for the first time since the 2003-04 season.
The Cyclones got off to another quick start to take a 9-2 lead on the Vandals, but Idaho roared back near the end of the 1st quarter to take a 19-14 advantage.
