Kansas coach David Beaty saw Iowa State’s trick play coming and there was nothing he could do to stop it.

Beaty realized offensive tackle Jake Campos, in the slot, was a decoy. He tried telling his safety to ignore Campos and cover the middle of the field, but the play started too fast. The defense went towards Campos, opening a hole for wide receiver D’Vario Montgomery to catch a 33-yard pass.
