CHICAGO — Less than 24 hours earlier, Fred Hoiberg walked away from comfort, adoration and one hell of a roster.
Despite throwing that caution to the wind, as he sat facing the cameras and questions of the Chicago media Tuesday, the former Iowa State and current Bulls coach couldn’t have looked or sounded more relaxed and confident as he laid out his vision for taking his new team to a title.
Simply, he looked like he was exactly where he was supposed to be.
He had so many things going for him in Ames from professional success to family familiarity.
