The tight end room in Ames is getting another big target. Gabe Burkle out of Cedar Rapids committed to Iowa State on Wednesday evening. He recently took a visit to Indiana over the weekend.
Burkle a 3-star prospect according to 247sports, missed some time last season due to an injury but the coaching loved what they saw earlier in his career and his potential. He held offers from Indiana, Kansas State and Michigan State.
Burkle is the 8th commit of the 2022 class and the 3rd from the state of Iowa.
