Former ISU walk-on Jackson charged with assault

Class "D" felonies are punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of $750 to $7,500. 

Jackson was a transfer from John Wood Community College and was a walk-on for the men's basketball program, seeing action in eight games in 2014-15. The 6-foot-4-inch junior averaged 0.6 points and 0.6 rebounds in just 3.3 minutes of action per game.

Jackson announced he was transferring from the program after the end of the season.
