With Iowa State out of bowl contention, J.D. Waggoner is looking for one thing over the final two games.
And he won’t find it on the scoreboard.
Waggoner believes rest of the season, starting with Saturday’s tilt at Kansas State (11 a.m., FS1), will bring out the true character of the Cyclones.
“It reveals if we are playing for ourselves or if we are playing for each other,” the defensive end said.
The 35-31 loss to No. 4 Oklahoma State last week was more than a heartbreaker. It ended ISU’s hopes of six wins and getting back to the postseason.
