Every year there are players vital to a team’s success. They aren’t necessarily the best players, but their performance will go a long way in dictating how well a team does.
The Ames Tribune takes a look at the 10 most important players to the Iowa State 2015 football season. Some are starts. Some aren’t.
But all of them will likely have a large say in how many wins the Cyclones racks up.
1. DT Demond Tucker
An awful lot of ISU’s season is tied into Tucker. He will be asked to help fill the void at defensive tackle, which in theory, could help the Cyclones control the line of scrimmage better, improve the run defense, help the defense surrender few points, and, even, help ISU in the win column.
