Quarterback Grant Rohach is transferring from Iowa State, the football program announced on Tuesday.
Rohach, a redshirt junior, will be a graduate transfer and immediately eligible.
Rohach didn’t attempt a pass this past season and spent the year as the third-string quarterback. Rohach appeared to be the ISU quarterback of the future when he seized control of the starting spot over Sam Richardson during the 2013 season. He played in seven games, starting four while throwing for 1,208 yards and eight touchdowns. He posted back-to-back 300-yard passing games against Kansas and West Virginia in 2013. He was at the center of the biggest comeback in program history when ISU overcame a 24-point deficit to top the Mountaineers 52-44 in triple overtime to end the 2013 season.
