MANHATTAN, Kan. - When Iowa State football coach Paul Rhoads gathered the Cyclones in the locker room after a 38-35 loss to Kansas State on Saturday, he tried to explain what had just happened.
Twice ISU could have taken a knee in the final 93 seconds, once to all but secure a win, another to force overtime. Instead, the Cyclones fumbled on both possessions, helping to give the Wildcats 10 points in 39 seconds to cap off a wild comeback.
