The status of Luke Knott and his hip is still up in the air. It’s not going to change anytime soon.
Iowa State football coach Paul Rhoads said on Tuesday that any update on the future of his linebacker won’t come until about the start of the season.
“I don’t really believe I’ll have any kind of concrete answer for you on that until August gets here because (the doctors) are going to give him that kind of timeframe to really see how it responds to this next (treatment),” said Rhoads on a Big 12 teleconference.
The plan is for Knott to see a surgeon and see how he responds over the summer before deciding what is next for him
“They are going to perform a procedure to try to alleviate some pain that he is going through and then it will be a matter of time to see how that works and where they go from there.
