The Toledo to Iowa State connection continues for the football team.
The Cyclones officially announced the hiring of offensive line coach Tom Manning on Tuesday. Manning spent the last four years as the Toledo offensive line coach, working under new ISU head coach Matt Campbell.
“Tom is truly one of the best offensive line coaches in the country,” said Campbell in a statement. “He’s done a fantastic job developing the line at Toledo.”
Manning and Campbell were teammates for one season at Mount Union. Manning was an offensive lineman and Campbell served as Manning’s position coach for his senior season.
