Iowa State isn’t running from the fact it will need strong seasons from its incoming junior college transfers. It has, after all, been part of the blueprint for success since signing day.
How good the Cyclones end up being this season will depend, in large part, on how productive those jucos become.
“That has a chance to be a significant impact on our defensive football team, and I think we would all agree we need a significant impact on that side of the ball,” ISU coach Paul Rhoads said.
