Iowa State football coach Paul Rhoads held his weekly press conference on Monday. Here are five things to take away from it as the Cyclones prepare for Texas Tech on Saturday (2:30 p.m., FSN).
1. The lean part of the schedule is over. The next three games are against Texas Tech, No. 2 TCU and No. 3 Baylor. All three offenses average at least 50.0 points per game.
The Red Raiders lead the league in passing offense (423.8 yards per game) and are third in total offense (602.8 yards per game).
The Cyclones are embracing the task ahead for the defense.
