Troy Davis is heading to the College Football Hall of Fame. The former Iowa State running back is one of 16 players and coaches in the 2016 class, which was announced on Friday.
“I am extremely honored and humbled to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame,” said Davis in a statement. “This was one of my goals when I first came to Iowa State. Twenty years later and I made it! This is a true blessing and I want to thank God and everybody in Ames, Iowa who kept pushing me. I didn’t win the Heisman, but I made the College Football Hall of Fame.
