Matt Campbell is yet to coach a game at Iowa State. Yet, he’s already claiming a win after the Cyclones signed five junior college players on the mid-year signing day on Wednesday.
“Today was a victory in my mind because every guy we went after or had prior knowledge of were guys we were able to get into our program,” Campbell said. “We felt like five was the magic number today and we hit it because those were the guys that we evaluated, circled and we really understood those were the guys we were able to get.”
