The Toledo exodus continued on Wednesday.
Iowa State football announced the hirings of former Toledo defensive line coach Eli Rasheed and director of strength and conditioning Rudy Wade. Both will hold similar positions with the Cyclones. The duo joined ISU and former Toledo head coach Matt Campbell a day after the Rockets beat Temple 32-17 in the Boca Raton Bowl on Tuesday.
Rasheed served at the Toledo defensive line coach from 2009-15.
“Eli and I have been together for seven years and he has set the tone of not only going out and recruiting great players, but also developing those young men,” said Campbell in a statement.
