So, the former Iowa State defensive end walked away from the NFL, citing burnout and an anxiety from leaving his family, instead of taking part in the Ravens’ rookie minicamp on Friday.
“I don’t want to do anything where my heart is not into it 100 percent,” Morrissey said. “I didn’t feel like I had the commitment level I owed to the team or to myself because I didn’t want to do half-hearted.
