It’s been an absolute whirlwind of activity for new Iowa State football coach Matt Campbell since formally being ntroduced as the Cyclones’ newest head man Monday.
He took a break from hiring assistants and calling recruits Tuesday night to address the crowd at Hilton Coliseum during the first half of the No. 5 Cyclones’ 84-64 win over North Dakota State on Tuesday.
“I’ ll tell you I’m truly humbled, truly honored to be the head football coach of your Iowa State Cyclones,” Campbell told the crowd from center court. “I came here two years (with former team Toledo) and I’ve been here for three days and the magic of this place is only you (fans).
