Proving some magic still exists in Manhattan, an undermanned Wildcat squad fought back and nearly pushed No. 6 Baylor into overtime on Thursday night. Jarrett Stidham, the true freshman quarterback replacing an injured Seth Russell, was impressive in his first start for the Bears, throwing for 419 yards and three touchdowns.
Kansas State quarterback Joe Hubener ran for 153 yards and two touchdowns and threw for one more late in the fourth quarter to put the Wildcats down one score with 4:07 left to play.
