For Iowa State’s annual trip to Allen Fieldhouse in the spring of 2013, many fans weren’t sure if the sharpshooting Cyclones would be able to take down freshman sensation Ben McLemore and the Kansas Jayhawks. The game was back and forth for most of the contest, with both teams taking and subsequently losing 10 point leads. With 8.4 seconds left, Korie Luscious knocked down two free throws to give the good guys a three point lead.
