Fairly boring, but not a terrible trophy overall. It doesn’t have the same “cool” factor as Paul Bunyan’s Axe, the Old Oaken Bucket, or the Jeweled Shillelagh, but it got the job done.
A new trophy was donated by the Iowa Corn Growers Association and introduced to the public during the Iowa State Fair in 2011. Dean Taylor, president of the Association, called it “a work of art that represents Iowans and their hard work.
