IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The U.S. Women's National Wrestling Team is hosting a National Team training camp in Iowa City, Iowa from January 18-22. The team is training in the Dan Gable Wrestling Complex at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and is guests of the University of Iowa wrestling team and Hawkeye Wrestling Club.
The camp is being conducted by National Women's Coach Terry Steiner, and includes many of the top women's freestyle wrestlers in the nation. These athletes are expected to be in the field at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Wrestling, which returns to Carver-Hawkeye Arena, April 9-10.
