Welcome to the best few days of basketball ever, folks: the first and second rounds of the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Tournament is here, and if you’re a fan of the game of basketball in any capacity, your eyes are going to bleed from television exposure come Tuesday. I for one, welcome it.
Unfortunately, the matchup that most of the fanbase is waiting for doesn’t tip for a few more days, when Jan Jensen and the Iowa Women’s Basketball team will face off against Murray State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Norman, OK. The Hawkeyes enter the Big Dance as a 6 seed and a 22-10 overall record; the Racers are an 11 seed with a 25-7 record.
