After toiling in Hawkeye basketball for three years, Wagner transferred to Kentucky to play football. He played just one year in high school but that was enough to catch the eye of the Wildcats. He was eligible last year, but has started to make a name for himself this year with 12 receptions for 248 yards (20.7 per) and two TDs.
The Athletic has been on top of his rise, detailing his prowess in either catching the ball or getting interfered with earlier this season.
