IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa Athletics Department and KXIC Radio announced Wednesday that 12 of the Iowa volleyball team’s 20 Big Ten Conference matches will air live on “Iowa City’s Home of the Hawkeyes” this season.
“We are so excited to have KXIC broadcasting so many of our matches this fall,” said UI head coach Bond Shymansky. “We are working hard to be a flagship program at Iowa and this is a perfect way for us to gain more exposure in greater eastern Iowa. We know that Iowa is behind the Hawkeyes, and now they can start following Hawkeye volleyball on the radio.
