WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana -- The University of Iowa women’s tennis team concludes their second tournament of the fall season with the Purdue Invitational.
“I think we took steps forward this weekend. We were making a lot more quality balls, competing well, and making adjustments,” said UI head coach Katie Dougherty.
Natalie Looney, Adorabol Huckleby and Zoe Douglas all won their final singles matches at the Purdue Invitational on Sunday afternoon. Looney won 6-3, 6-1 over Mississippi State’s Caroline Kelly. Huckleby defeated Notre Dame’s Darby Mountford 6-1, 6-4.
