KALAMAZOO, Michigan - - The University of Iowa women’s tennis team concluded two rounds of doubles and one round of singles on Friday during the opening day of the Western Michigan Invitational. The Hawkeyes are off to a good start for their final tournament of the fall season, going 5-4 on singles for the day, and 4-4 on doubles.
“Solid first day for us today, we got to see new doubles teams and got some tough matches in singles,” said UI head coach Katie Dougherty. “As a team we want to play better each day and make adjustments for the following day.
