GREENVILLE, South Carolina – Three University of Iowa women’s tennis players earned wins on the final day of competition at the Furman Fall Classic. Freshman Adorabol Huckleby won her first singles match as a Hawkeye on Sunday, 1-6, 7-6 (4), 1-0 (8) over Margo Taylor of University of Tennessee. Freshman Taylor Tamblyn also won her singles match against Furman University’s Harper Caswell, 7-5, 6-3. Tamblyn finished the tournament 2-0 in her singles debut.
Along with Huckleby and Tamblyn, sophomore Montana Crawford broke into the win column with a straight-set win against Hannah Templeton of South Carolina, 7-5, 6-4.
