EVANSTON, Ill. The University of Iowa women's swimming and diving team dropped a 190.5-109.5 Big Ten Conference dual at Northwestern on Saturday afternoon at the Norris Aquatics Center. The Hawkeyes won four events in the dual.
"We had some solid individual performances, but overall it's a disappointing loss." said head coach Marc Long. "We need to stay focused and work hard towards the Championship Season."
Iowa opened the day with a victory in the 200-medley relay. The quartet of senior Allie Orvis, junior Emma Sougstad, freshman Kelly McNamara, and junior Taylor Flummerfelt finished with a time of 1:42.
