KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- The University of Iowa women's golf team concluded action at the Edwin Watts Kiawah Island Classic on Tuesday, tying for 10th place in the 41-team field. The Hawkeyes posted a final round 299 (+11) -- their lowest round of the tournament -- at Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s Osprey Point for a three-round total of 905 (+41).
Coastal Carolina (+7; 871) took first place followed by Chattanooga in second (+15; 879) and host College of Charleston in third (+20; 884).
Jessie Sindlinger led the way for the Hawkeyes throughout the three-day tournament, tying for 28th overall.
