KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- The University of Iowa women's golf team is tied for 10th place following Monday’s second round of play at the Edwin Watts Kiawah Island Classic. The Hawkeyes posted a 306 (+18) at Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s Oak Point.
Coastal Carolina and College of Charleston are tied for first in the 41-team field (+13; 589), while Chattanooga sits in second (+20; 596).
“I think this trip has been a good test for our game,” said UI head coach Megan Menzel. “We have been playing a little tight and we have been penalized for our lack of commitment to shots.
