IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Three University of Iowa student-athletes -- Aaron Mallett, Elexis Guster, and Will Teubel -- and one relay compete at the 2016 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mallett, a junior, is making his second NCAA indoor appearance in the men’s 60-meter hurdles, finishing sixth in the event a year ago. His personal-best 7.69, which he set at the Big Ten Championships on Feb. 27, enters a four-way tie for fourth nationally. The men’s 60-meter hurdle semi-finals begin Friday at 6:10 p.
