Strong second half propels Iowa over Texas A&M - Commerce, 89-67

The Iowa Hawkeyes used a 13-0 run in the second half to put away Texas A&M-Commerce to come away with a 89-67 win in their home opener. The victory was the first of three Kenny Arnold Classic games.

Payton Sandfort was the man of the match with 20 points on 7/14 shooting, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists. He also added three blocks and a steal for a team high +31. He wore athletic tape on his shoulders as Jess Settles mentioned he had been nursing some injuries. His brother Pryce added 13 points on 4/10 shooting and a pair of blocks.
