EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The 16th-ranked University of Iowa men's basketball team completed the regular season sweep of Michigan State, handing the fourth-ranked Spartans a 76-59 defeat on Thursday night at the Breslin Center.
The win is Iowa's first in East Lansing since 1993 and it is the program's first regular season sweep of Michigan State since the 1992-93 season. Iowa moves to 13-3 overall and 4-0 in the Big Ten for the first time since 1999; the Spartans are 16-2, 3-2.
