It appears that it may be even longer until we see Iowa freshman point guard Connor McCaffery this season, as his mononucleosis sent him to the hospital the past couple of days, Fran McCaffery said during his teleconference Monday.
It was originally believed McCaffery would miss just a few weeks due to the illness, but the drastic weight loss is forcing his dad to re-evaluate that plan.
Jordan Bohannon has been the main point guard so far this season, as expected. Brady Ellingson and Maishe Dailey have been getting solid time at the 1 as well, but I think the departure of Christian Williams may be hurting this team a little more than anticipated.
