Iowa City native Oliver Martin entered the NCAA transfer portal Friday morning, per the internet.
I’m sure you’re all well-aware of Martin’s history by now: a four-star recruit out of Iowa City West, Martin committed to Michigan and played sparingly for the Wolverines in 2018 after redshirting the year prior. Iowa had Nate Stanley while Michigan didn’t, so Martin transferred back home and found out he was eligible to play in 2019 just a week before the season kicked off.
Martin caught 2 passes for 14 yards and a touchdown in the season opener against Miami The Lesser, and caught 2 passes for 10 yards the following week against Rutgers.
