Iowa started its matchup against No. 22 Michigan with a 7-0 lead, and 5-5 shooting.
It ended the half down 37-24 with 12 turnovers and 6-21 shooting, helping Iowa earn its 16th loss to the season in a 74-59 loss.
As mentioned above, Iowa started off about as well as it could have asked. Then the Hawkeyes turned it over. A lot. After giving the ball away just 8 times against Michigan State a week ago, Iowa turned it over 12 times in the first half alone, and 16 times total for the game.
Michigan, meanwhile, turned it over just 6 times.
