Iowa City, Iowa -- -- Senior Jake Mangler's walk-off RBI single to left centerfield propelled the 14th-ranked University of Iowa baseball team to a 4-3 come-from-behind walkoff victory over Northwestern on Friday night in front of a season-high crowd of 1,588 at Duane Banks Field. The Hawkeyes trailed 3-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning.
"Our guys stuck with it today," said UI head coach Rick Heller. "The game is never over; there are so many variables and so many things that can happen.
