IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa men’s swimming and diving team won all four events to take a 60-12 lead over Michigan State on Thursday night at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Natatorium.
“Tonight was great, we had a chance to see everyone swim,” said UI head coach Marc Long. “It’s fun and a precursor for tomorrow, so we took care of ourselves tonight and got ready for a great day of racing tomorrow.”
Iowa opened the meet with a victory in the men’s 200-freestyle relay with the quartet of freshman Matt Kamin, juniors Jackson Halsmer and Brandon Farnum, and senior Jackson Allen touching in 1:21.
