BATON ROUGE, La. -- Three Hawkeyes finished in the top 25 of the 75-player field at the annual David Toms Intercollegiate to lead the University of Iowa men's golf team to a fourth place finish. Iowa notched a 10-over-par 298 in Sunday's final round and finished with an 890 (+26) on 54 holes. The two-day tournament, hosted by LSU, was played at LSU's University Club.
LSU won the team race (E; 864), followed by Kansas State (+16; 880) and Liberty (+22; 886). Eric Ricard of LSU was the tournament medalist at 10-under-par (206; 73, 65, 68).
